So I finally came on DeviantArt again; gosh it's been a while...around 58 deviations, wow...
So here's what's going on with me right now.
1. I was really sick two weeks ago, when I didn't get swine flu (they stuck a swab up my nose to test me but I didn't have it...uggghhh, that was a horrible test), but more than a third of my school got sick. You shoulda seen the absent board, it was COMPLETELY, NO EXAGGERATION, full of names. Even though I didn't get swine flu I still could only go to school wednesday and friday, because my throat got all messed up and I had a cough and I couldn't talk. I sounded like a man and everyone made fun of me except Peter...he's my favorite.
2. My girl's vars soccer team won the league championship!! I didn't get to go to the last game (DAMMITTTT) cuz I was sick - it happened during the week I was all dead and couldn't talk - but it's still awesome!! We got into NEPSAC too, but were beaten by Tilton, who suck, because they weren't even good soccer players, they just relied completely on their Jamaican national player. She was the only real good player on the team, and the whole team was really mean, too - number 19 shoved Celia around a TON!! Jerk...but we still made it so far, and I'm really gonna miss this team, it was such a good one...we got through the whole season only losing a single game. I'm HUGELY proud of us and so happy I got to be a part of a team I really didn't deserve to be on, but I'm gonna work hard and get really good at soccer, and keep going to the gym over the winter (I'm doing theatre cuz the Y is only for juniors and seniors this year) so I stay fit. I'm gonna do really well in the Run-Walk-Crawl this year, and be better at soccer so that next year and I can be as helpful as possible to my team. And hopefully Slack will be our coach again, cuz he is SO awesome!! I'm definitely gonna miss our seniors a lot...Char especially. I want to be as good at soccer and art as her someday.
3. So I think it's time I explain the title of this journal entry. Today we had the best writing class I think we've ever had, ever. Our homework was to read excerpts from the original "Pride and Prejudice", and then the same ones except from "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," possibly the best book ever written. I have Hannah Newman as my writing teacher and she's the BEST THING that ever happened to anything...I love classes with her, like when she subs for French...especially since Maureen is so awful...but anyway, we started off the class doing a prompt where we had to write about dinosaurs (Evan's idea...guh) and something in their environment being unusual. I couldn't stop cracking up about how awesome/ridiculous the prompt was...like, I literally kept on breaking into random laughter, I just couldn't help it. But in the end Evan read his piece, about Kanye West and Jurassic Park (our writing class has a Kanye West fetish - long story) and drew a picture, which I REALLY hope he scans someday, it was beautiful...and Hannah collected stories from anyone who wanted to turn them in to copy and staple together and put in Mike Jappe's box (he reeeeeally likes dinosaurs). Then, after our prompt, we talked a little about the reading and how amazing it was, and then moved on into doing a study where I frantically looked for a writing piece in my mess of a work folder, because I was chosen to read for the writing meeting today. I love fridays...I read my scary piece in Annie Proulx's style, but I was really nervous. I haven't done anything in meeting in forever, so getting up and reading was scary. But yeah, it was the best writing class ever. It seems my writing classes always turn into conversations about either Kanye West, Kanye West's hair, or Drew's awkwardness.
4. I've decided to start watching One Piece again!! I'm onto episode 171! (Sanji and Usopp, you better be ok!! And this creepy lightning dude better DIE. A HORRIBLE DEATH. I hate him. Gan Fall is cool.) It's ridiculous how many episodes of this show there are...on the website where I watch them, there are 426 uploaded. I love it...I'll have something to watch until I'm eighty-two (I'm eighty-two!)...but then again, the last (hopefully) season of LOST starts in January, which is also when Baccano! comes out on DVD in full. I can't wait! What a great show, if rather terrifying and violent...but yeah, One Piece, despite being pure stretchy insanity, is one of the best things in the world...it makes me really happy that Erica likes it, which leads directly into my next thing happening with me.
5. So there was a meteor shower on tuesday in the morning, from around 3:30 to 5:00 am, that Eds told me about on facebook on monday. So we made plans, and around 4 in the morning she came on over, and we donned our Uggs and sleeping bags like worms, and brought the pikachu and hot chocolate up to watch the meteors fall. It was SOO cool!! We didn't see a LOT a lot, cuz apparently the best place to see the shower was in India, so we only got to see a few meteors. But it was still cool!! Some were really bright, and all of them were gorgeous. It got cold though by around 5:15 (we were up there huddling together for over an hour, using each other and the pikachu as pillows - the pikachu does not make a good pillow...), so we went down, cuz the shower was mostly over anyway. Dad said it would keep on going all day, but I don't know, I'm not sure about how meteor showers work...astronomy is not my specialty...I can only recognize the constellations Orion and Sirius (which were coincidentally quite bright and beautiful), and the Dippers...I wish I knew more. I need to learn them. So around 5:15 we went back downstairs from my roofdeck and got settled on my couch and watched One Piece until Eds had to leave at 6-ish for school. Since it was a tuesday I didn't have to leave until a bit after 7:00 (I don't take the train on tuedays), so I got to watch One Piece until like, 7:30. It was the best, especially since tuedays are usually not great days of the week for me...I have tut lunch and three (THREE. THREEEEEEEEEE. T____T) periods of chemistry, which is frankly just awful, even if it means I don't have chem on thursday or friday...so I had a really great day after starting it off really great. I love doing spontaneous things like this. Eds, we should get together and watch One Piece in the morning more often, hahaha, even if it DID make me ridiculously tired for the rest of the morning...but that was just because I got up at 3:35. Cx
6.THANKSGIVING IS COMING!!! We're having 35 people over this year, and finally I get to see Abbi again!!

7. I was reading old stuff I wrote today. I'm gonna edit it.
8. CHRISTMAS IS COMING TOOOO! I'm gonna post a christmas list in a little while just because I can. xD
9. I love my Urban Outfitter's coat and silver Nike shoes. I am a shameless advertiser for brand names I love. <3
10. "Where the Wild Things Are" is one of the best things in the whole world, and YES, I KNOW I say that a lot, but it's like, REALLY awesome, even if it's sad and dark...Drew and I have some theories about what certain things mean in it.
11. Galen, I will pull this car over, I swear I will!
That is all.
